Summary
The player is the vendor of a well-known pancake shop, and game lasts for 10 days. Every day, he serves just one customer with customized pancakes. When the player is waitting for the customer, he watchs the news headline with 3 comments on the screen. He likes one of them, and the world around him changes on the next day. In other words, the player's choice influences his surrounding.
I plan to develop game further to enable a world shaped by the collective choices of all players.
The message is that our likes and dislikes create a different reality.

Game background
This is a pixel style simulation. The goal is to present a changing virtual world shaped by comments chosen collectively by players. Social media makes it so easy for anyone to make a comment on anything. Total strangers then seriously or casually, obligingly or habitually like or dislike these comments. Sometimes, the likes and dislikes accumulate to such incredible numbers that they shape public opinions and change the direction of events. There can be positive or negative consequences of the power of social media. Social media can help with disaster relief, mobilize support for addressing injustice, call attention to neglected vulnerable people. On the other hand, it often happens, unfortunately, that extreme and radical voices are shutting down sensible, moderate views, and our prejudices deepened and solidified. I want to use this game to get people reflect on the parallel world of social media and its interaction with the real world.

Design Goal
The game allows players to experience a reality created by his opinions and those of strangers. The participation of ordinary people in forging public opinion has been magnified by the pervasive usage of social media. We observe cases in which even government policies can be driven by public sentiment. For example, China’s abrupt relaxation of Covid measures was widely claimed to be the results of expressed dissatisfaction of citizens. This game invites players to live and reflect the consequences of his opinions.
